Meet the Photographer Jorge Ginzo

Capturing real moments and genuine connections

Hi, I’m Jorge—the photographer behind K9fotos.

My approach to photography is simple: focus on people, and the moments that matter to them.

Before photography, I spent over 30 years in emergency services—working in environments where timing, awareness, and reading a situation weren’t optional, they were essential. That experience taught me how to recognize real moments as they happen, even when they’re quick, unplanned, or easy to miss.

That perspective shapes everything I do behind the camera.

Real moments

Real moments are the ones you don’t have to manufacture—they’re already happening. It’s the laughter that breaks out unexpectedly, the quick glance between people, the energy of a room, or the quiet second that says everything without words. These moments aren’t perfect, and that’s exactly why they matter. My role isn’t to stage them, but to recognize them as they unfold and capture them with honesty. Whether during a portrait session, an event, or time spent with the people and pets you care about most, real moments are what give photographs their meaning.

A thoughtful approach

They happen quietly, often in between everything else. A glance, a pause, a subtle expression, the way someone naturally interacts with the people or things they care about. These are the moments that carry meaning because they’re real. My approach is to slow down enough to notice them, anticipate them, and capture them in a way that feels honest. Whether it’s during a portrait, an event, or time spent with a pet, those thoughtful moments are what turn a photograph into something worth holding onto.
